I learned so much over the course of our 2 hour dance marathon, recognizing the integral relationship between audience and performer in a way I did not expect. we were locked in the score (and subscores) together, made choices together, agreed to stay in it together, to stay for the entirety, to stay as fully present with our whole selves.
Said another audience member in a post-performance email:
“Please perform many more times and in many more locations.”
